Technology at Snowden

Monday, August 17th, was an exciting day at Snowden!  Two fabulous mobile Mac labs were delivered.  Each lab has 30 MacBooks and a projector.  There was a glitch in the ordering resuting in a delay in the arrival of a printer for each lab.  The lack of a printer (temporarily) did not dampen anyone’s spirits, because Ms. Greene and Mrs. Muldavin combined their classes and had a social studies lesson using the labs that very afternoon.  I will have the labs Thursday going from room to room.  Come back soon to read about the lessons that occurred on Thursday.

The 2009 – 2010 school year will be a very exciting one at Snowden School!  There will be two brand new mobile computer labs available to all students.  All elementary students will have a computer class in which they will be working in the labs with the computers.  Stay tuned to this blog to find out all of the exciting things the elementary students will be doing.
